Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher: The Lesser Evil
This graphic novel adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s original short story weaves a tragic tale of passion, vindication, and the essence of evil.
Seeking a reward, Geralt delivers the carcass of a slain creature to a small town, where he learns it might be useful to the local sorcerer. However, the mage is not who he claims to be.
Fearing for his life, the sorcerer asks Geralt to kill the monster hunting him—a young woman supposedly born under the Curse of the Black Sun, a prophecy of inherent evil. He insists she is more monstrous than the creature Geralt brought. When Geralt meets the woman, she reveals that the sorcerer is the true monster, committing horrific acts driven by his superstitious beliefs. As the lines between perpetrator and victim blur, Geralt faces a moral dilemma. The nature of evil is ever-shifting, and his decision, whether voluntary or forced, can only end in tragedy.
